Messi $300 Million Transfer to Saudi Cheif Has his say

The Saudi Football Federation is responding to rumors of Lionel Messi joining Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East. With Ronaldo already signed to Al-Nassr and speculation of a £246 million ($305m) offer for Messi from Al-Hilal, the Federation’s General Secretary, Ibrahim Alkassim, stated in an interview with Marca that they currently have no knowledge of such an offer.

However, he added that the Federation would like to see the two soccer icons in the domestic league and that they are always looking to improve the sport in Saudi Arabia.

Despite the rumors, Messi is still expected to re-sign with Paris Saint-Germain, where he will continue to play for at least one more year.
